Upon the rails
Among the weeds
I had a moment of
serenity
I saw you stand
In all the green
Upon the rusting rail
Balancing
You were
The only answer
My plans
Spun all around you
Five years in the wrong, I am assured
My name to you is just another word
And in your bed
In morristown
You had magazines
Thrown around
From under them
The phone it rang
And in the margin there
You wrote the number down
You were
The only answer
My plans
Spun all around you
Five years in the wrong, I am assured
My name to you is just another word
Another Word
Another Word
Oh, the answer
Another Word
The only answer

18mm, f/8, 3 sec, ISO 200I love photography. And everything about it.
I love picking up one of my cameras and popping a fresh roll of refrigerated film (or a memory card) into it and going out. The weight, the heft. My hand wrapped…
Even if you never plan to let your dog out without you please please train it as if you are. Train it to sit and stay and stop and come on command. Just witnessed a little black dog run into traffic and get hit and killed because his owner kept him in the house and only took him on walks on his leash so when he got out he had no idea about anything… sad sad sad
Through the window
Just a wall
Shapes are forming
Blackbirds call
Early morning spirits
Moving hands
Tick-tocking ages
In the half-light
of the still
Before the lark
Where I can feel my shadow
Touch your silence
in the dark
Sleeping at the wheel
reaching for
oceans before us
for us to feel
together, tonight
Playing eagle
firing eyes
ever willing
sweet surprise
Welling in the belly
Of their chase
Tracing out the angel
In the half-light
on your face
Before the lark
Where I can feel my shadow
Touch your silence,
in the dark
Sleeping at the wheel
reaching for
oceans before us
for us to feel
together, tonight
Then suddenly
I hear you say
“Time to get up
It’s gone midday,
Cup of tea love”
And I realise
I must have dropped off
drifted into dream
before the lark
yielded to the
ether of our
secret world
in the dark”
